Hustler .....the name so suits him. Born in Melbourne, he loved the beach walks and was a magnet for bikini clad girls who just insisted on patting him and telling him how pretty he was. Hustler had a great baby and puppy career and won multi in group awards. He won his junior class at the Melbourne Royal and Junior in Show All Breeds twice. He is the dog featured on our header pages.
He was sent to Glenys Grey (Kimchatka Samoyeds) in NZ as a junior dog. Hustler won Best Dog and Reserve in Show at two major specialty shows in succession and won several all breeds classes in group and show.
Critique from Stephen Gabb:
"A very typical and well balanced specimen of the breed, correct wedge shaped muzzle, lovely almond eyes, ears just showing through his ruff, good quality textured coat, correct stifles and good feet, moves without effort.
"
When we moved to Tasmania he won Best Dog at the Hobart Royal 1996 and was the male dog with the most challenge points for two years running. Hustler has challenge certificates from local, interstate and South African, Agentinian, German, Canadian, Malaysian, Singapore and New Zealand judges. Specialist judges who have awarded him group and in show wins include Sylvia Gartner, Ken Pierce, Stephen Gabb, Elle Maitland and Bill Dryburgh.
He loved the show ring, and yes he loved to bark a little during judging. He went to obedience school but failed!. Too interested in the females in the class to pay proper attention.
Hustlers first stud produced six puppies to Vashka the Apothecary (Silk).
Hustler was mated to Ch Kimskaya Mega Style and produced Ch Kimskaya thenext Chapter.
Another litter from Hustler to Mega produced Singapore Champion Kimskaya Mega Ambition ~ Louie ~ who is the love of Katherine's life. He is totally spoilt living inside with air conditioning, and receives constant attention from all members of the family. Another dog from this mating went to Hawaii and lives on a small outer island.
Today Hustler is living the life of a spoilt dog, sunbathing, barking, playing with the great great grand kids and yes even today he is fit and healthy and chasing a ball or hoop. He loves to run along the beach barking at the seagulls.
His litter sister Ch Kimskaya the Centrefold (Lacey) attained her title along with group and in show awards.
